After the first step of having your new website created which will grab the instant attention of your prospect, and persuade them into contacting you to hopefully make an order, you then need to think about how you are going to get further, targeted traffic to your website.

So how do we get more people to visit your site without paying the world for it!

This can be achieved in many ways, some of which you will already currently employ, both offline and online:

  • Advertising in local and national media mentioning your Web address.

  • Promoting your web address on your stationary.
    Business cards and flyers highlighting your company's web address will bring in some traffic to your website. Printed media offer little informational content so the prospect's next step is to visit your website.

  • Using paid services such as Google Adwords.
    There are now a few online services which will show the link to your website when a prospect searches on your chosen keywords. These campaigns can be effective but much thought must be given to these keywords and the description of your advertisement.   • Paying for links on relevant sites.
    If researched correctly, these paid-for links can be very effective.
